Dr. Badran Alomar earned his PhD in Health and Hospital Administration in 1995 at the University of Wales. Since 2005 he has been Professor (now Emeritus) of Health and Hospital Administration at King Saud University, and since 2006, Chair of the Department of Management of King Saud University's College of Business Administration. Since 2002, he has been a scientific consultant with the Institute of Health Studies in Riyadh. He was appointed president of King Saud University in 2012, a post which he held until 2024. King Saud University has been the headquarters of the PSIPW Organization since its establishment in 2002 and provides the organization with scientific supervision and support. He was appointed Chairman of the PSIW Council in 2018.
